After doing Everest Base camp challenge – Daniel and I explored India for two weeks. It was mystical, magical and mad all at the same time. India really is a sensory overload. So many people, so much colour and so much noise, but India’s heart beat and masterpieces are her people, so humble and spiritual.
It Was a great thrill to reach Everest base camp – I’ve done it once before but this time was simply brilliant not only did I get to do it with an amazing bunch of mates for an incredibly great cause, but I got to do it with my youngest son Daniel. Memories!
The Mark Hughes foundation trip to Everest base camp was an incredible success 28 out of the 28 participants made it to base camp and incredibly raised over $500,000 for the fight against brain cancer . A great memory for me to be with such a wonderful collective group of people on a magical journey.
With about 50% of Aussie men over the age of 15 reporting health concerns like depression, diabetes and asthma, it’s never been more relevant to talk about the importance of men’s health.
Proud to be the NSW ambassador for the round, initially looking to raise $500k it looks like achieving three times that amount, simply amazing.. All thanks go’s to two great mates Matt Callender who started the whole thing and Mark Hughes and his foundation who worked so hard.
